The Denver Broncos have lost one of their key players again.
They’re going to live and die by Kareem Jackson and his actions, and that usually means having to be without him for a while.
This time, the controversial safety will miss the next four games after being suspended for his latest illegal hit.
However, HC Sean Payton doesn’t seem to be all that worried about the situation.
When asked about replacing one of his most prominent defenders, he talked about having the solution already in the building:
“The solutions are in the building,” Payton said. “Then you pay attention to other rosters relative to practice squads. We have guys we’re developing on our practice squad. We’ve played two guys already without him. It depends on the team you’re playing. There are some weeks you’re going to be in a lot of nickel or penny. There are some weeks where you’re going to be a lot of base. A lot of it depends on what the game plan is going to feature, but it starts in the building.”

The former Super Bowl-winning coach talked about how it’ll all depend on the matchups they’re going to face, adding that he has plenty of depth on the roster and the practice squad to have people subbing in for him.
Jackson has often been criticized for the way he plays, and some people have even questioned whether he’s being encouraged to hit players that way.
He’s been tangled up in countless controversies since he first entered the league, and it doesn’t seem like he has any intention to change his ways.
Payton defended him in the past and stated that he wanted to do better and play within the rules, but a lot of that responsibility should also fall on the coach’s shoulders.
The Broncos are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, and they’ll look to keep the ball rolling when they face a Cleveland Browns team riding a three-game streak of their own in a must-watch clash with big postseason implications.
