The Seattle Seahawks surprised many around the NFL in 2022 by making the playoffs.
Last year was Geno Smith’s first as the team’s starting quarterback, and there were limited expectations for his success.
Smith rose to the occasion and finished eighth in the league in total passing yards.
The organization invested in an additional offensive piece for Smith to build upon the offense’s success last season.
They selected Jaxon Smith-Njigba with the No. 20 pick in this year’s draft.
If the team’s recent video is any indication, Smith-Njigba will be a welcomed addition to this roster.

As seen in the above video from training camp, Smith-Njigba went up for a massive catch that he reeled in one-handed.
This clip made its rounds across the internet, building the already strong hype train for Smith-Njigba.
He is one of several Ohio State wide receivers to be taken with high draft capital over the past few years.
Last season, both Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave found great success, products of the storied university.
If this video is any indication, Smith-Njigba shouldn’t have any problems achieving great heights of his own.
Smith and Smith-Njigba have already built a strong connection, as evidenced by this video.
There is over a month before the season kick-off, and these two will have more time to build chemistry, hoping to make a splash in 2023.
After a round-one exit in the 2022 playoffs, the Seahawks are set out for higher expectations this year.
Was Smith-Njigba the missing piece to fully unlock this offense?
