The Portland Trail Blazers are on the verge of losing Damian Lillard following the superstar’s trade request earlier in the offseason.
He urged the Trail Blazers to trade him to the Miami Heat so he could win an NBA championship in his career.
But according to recent reports, the Trail Blazers are apparently engaged in trade talks with the Toronto Raptors involving a package around OG Anunoby.
On the other hand, the Heat will most likely offer a trade package centering around Tyler Herro.
A veteran NBA scout recently called out the Trail Blazers for undervaluing Herro and overvaluing Anunoby, via NBACentral on Twitter.

The scout had a NSFW response to the way the Trail Blazers are handling the Lillard trade.
For starters, the Raptors aren’t even one of the top contending teams in the Eastern Conference.
The Trail Blazers should at least consider the Heat’s offer, as Dame was a loyal player to the organization for more than a decade.
But at the end of the day, the NBA is a business, and every team wants to make decisions that are in their best interests.
Even if the Trail Blazers use that thinking process, Herro is undoubtedly a better talent than Anunoby.
