There is a chance that Portland Trail Blazers rookie Scoot Henderson never plays a game alongside Damian Lillard.
Lillard has demanded a trade from that team and while the process is very slow-going, he could ultimately leave before the season kicks off next month.
Even though Lillard has grown tired of playing in Portland, there is no bad blood between him and Henderson.
Speaking to Orlando Sanchez, Henderson said “it’s all love.”
“Any situation that happens, it’s not going to change our relationship. If I do need something, big bro, I’ll still hit him,” Henderson said.

Henderson also added that Lillard gave him terrific advice at the start of his NBA career: “Don’t worry about the last shot.”
It’s good to hear that Lillard and Henderson get along, despite all the drama that could pull them apart.
The situation is certainly not ideal for the Blazers but Lillard has handled it respectfully, making it clear that he still loves Portland and the Blazers organization.
He feels it is time for him to move on but he still holds a special place in his heart for Portland.
As for Henderson, the possible loss of Lillard could complicate – but also benefit – his rookie year.
If Lillard does in fact leave the team, Henderson will get a lot more time to shine.
The youthful, energetic point guard could definitely put his stamp on the team right away.
Depending on who and what the Blazers get in return for Lillard, this could be Henderson’s team in a short matter of time.
He should definitely soak up all the advice given by Lillard because, in just a few weeks, Henderson might be without him.
