The New Orleans Saints are making a move to free up some cap space.

The 34-year-old has spent his entire 13-year career in the Big Easy, with the Saints taking him in the No. 24 pick of the 2011 NFL Draft out of California.
Jordan comes from an NFL lineage, as his father, TE Steve Jordan, was a six-time Pro Bowler for the Minnesota Vikings.
Cam, however, has already passed his father with a bigger legacy.
Following an underwhelming rookie campaign, Jordan became one of the most dominant defensive players in the league and a franchise legend.
He’s their all-time leader with 117.5 sacks, also getting eight Pro Bowl selections.
Jordan has reached double digits in sacks six times, also logging 225 QB hits, 15 forced fumbles, two interceptions, and 153 tackles for loss.
He’s not getting any younger and won’t be around for much longer, but he’s also been one of the most durable and productive players we’ve seen in the last decade or so.
Now, he makes sure to give his beloved team a helping hand to make sure they can get better ahead of a potential make-or-break season for HC Dennis Allen.
