During his time with the New Orleans Saints, Jimmy Graham became arguably the best tight end in the NFL while being superstar quarterback Drew Brees’ favorite target in the passing game in the Big Easy.
In the five seasons he was teammates with Brees in New Orleans to start his NFL career, Graham was named to the Pro Bowl three times and an All-Pro twice while earning the distinction as the best of the best at the tight end position.
Then Graham suffered a bit of a downturn in this career after landing with the Seattle Seahawks before getting back to form and finishing his stint with the team with two more Pro Bowls to his credit.
Unfortunately, that’s where Graham’s production as an elite tight end seemed to end, as he went on to have disappointing stints with the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears.
Although Graham has become an afterthought in the NFL, he’s got a chance to resurrect his career where it all began, as he has officially made the 53-man roster for the Saints, according to ProFootballTalk.

Along with getting another shot to shine where it all went right for him in the NFL, Graham has the benefit of playing with a veteran quarterback with something to prove in New Orleans.
After spending his entire career with the Las Vegas Raiders, Derek Carr is now the new starting quarterback for the Saints and might look to Graham to start up a similar connection to what he had with Darren Waller in Sin City.
