After posting their worst record since 2016, there has been much speculation about the future of the New Orleans Saints, and how they will be able to rebuild.
While we don’t know what the future for them looks like in terms of on-field production, the Saints have given clarity to their head coaching status for 2023.
Dennis Allen is remaining as the head coach of the team, per Loomis.

Dennis Allen was named the head coach of the Saints at the beginning of the 2022 season, and many believed him to be a stopgap coach while waiting to hire a suitable replacement.
At least for 2023, Allen’s job is safe.
With a record of 7-10, the Saints tied for second place in the NFC South, just one game behind the division-winning Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The NFC South as a whole was not one of the league’s more competitive divisions, and, if the Saints are able to turn things around, should have no problem competing for the division title in 2023.
They will need to make a few adjustments to their offense and defense, however.
Much is unknown about the quarterback position for the Saints next year.
They do have Jameis Winston signed throughout 2023, but do have an out before next season begins, should they decide to move on in the offseason.
The Saints might test free agency to find their next quarterback but could also look to this coming year’s draft as well.
This upcoming draft is loaded with potentially franchise-altering quarterbacks and could provide the answer the Saints have been looking for at the position after Drew Brees retired.
