The Denver Broncos are slated to look much different in 2024 than in 2023.
They are moving on from Russell Wilson after two failed seasons of offensive production, and it appears that Justin Simmons is also moving on.
Simmons recently posted a heartfelt letter on Twitter, calling out how great the Broncos fanbase was to him throughout his tenure.
Despite liking his time with the team and enjoying what the fanbase has to offer, it appears that Simmons will be on another roster next year.
This will be a devastating blow to the Broncos’ defense, and he will be genuinely missed by many people, including Wilson.
After seeing Simmons’ post, Wilson called him a “baller” and a “star,” indicating that he is excited to see what’s next for the defensive powerhouse.
Baller. Star. Can’t wait to see what God has next for you! 🙏🏾💪🏾 https://t.co/rc9HO2PLvW

With the absences of these two key players in mind, the Broncos have a lot of work to do.
They will need to figure out a plan B at quarterback, and replacing Simmons on defense is a tall task in its own right.
Having Wilson’s massive contracts on the books will limit their options at both positions, but teams need to learn how to pivot in the NFL after making potentially poor decisions.
It will be interesting to see what they do throughout the rest of the offseason and if this team will be able to compete in 2024.
The Kansas City Chiefs have had a stronghold on the division since Patrick Mahomes became the starter, leaving the Broncos to scramble, hoping to make lasting changes to better their chances of taking home another divisional title.
