Russell Westbrook’s stint with the Los Angeles Lakers made most believe that the former MVP’s career in the NBA was in jeopardy.
However, following the signing with the Los Angeles Clippers last season, he proved everyone wrong.
He had 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 7.6 assists over 21 games for the Clippers during the regular season.
Westbrook earned the trust of the organization and re-signed on a two-year, $7.8 million deal with the Clippers.
Despite his return to the Clippers, many are still in doubt whether Westbrook will be a key player for the Clippers or not.
Well, a recent workout video of Westbrook via NBACentral on Twitter proves that he’s more than ready to have a phenomenal 2023-24 season.

In the clip, Westbrook performed a few razor-sharp dribbling moves that resulted in the broken ankles of his trainer.
Now, that’s the Westbrook that fans have fallen in love with over the years.
During his stint with the Lakers, Westbrook was burdened with a lot of blame for the team’s defeats.
However, playing for the Clippers, Russ has seemingly gotten back his love for the game of basketball.
Westbrook is expected to be the starting point guard for the Clippers in the upcoming season.
Not many expect him to become an NBA All-Star next season, but they do hope for solid and consistent performances from him throughout the season.
Can Westbrook and the Clippers finally win their first ring in NBA history?
Or will their long wait to lift the illustrious Larry O’Brien trophy continue?
