Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves is looking to make his country proud as he leads Team France in the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
The iconic big man is definitely going to do a lot of work low in the post and under the glass.
But will he also do damage to opponents from the perimeter?
For the second time in one week, a video of Gobert sinking three-pointers has been shared online.
The footage, via NBACentral, features Gobert making the shots with confidence and landing them with ease.
Is this Gobert starting a brand new, exciting chapter of his career?

Throughout the years, Gobert hasn’t tried many threes.
And he hasn’t made a single one since joining the NBA back in 2013.
But perhaps now is the time when he unlocks a brand new skill and becomes a different type of player.
In reality, Timberwolves fans shouldn’t hold their breath.
They shouldn’t expect to see Gobert shooting the ball like Jamal Murray in the new season.
Yes, he was able to make these buckets during a practice session with Team France.
But there is obviously a huge difference between shooting threes during practice and during a real game.
Will Gobert still have such a deft touch with the ball when he has people defending him?
In all likelihood, the Gobert that we see in the World Cup will probably be a lot like the Gobert we see in the regular season.
He will be a very traditional center.
That’s not a bad thing because he is so good at it: in 2022-23, Gobert averaged a double-double with 13.4 points and 11.6 rebounds.
