The Kansas City Royals have a long way to go before they bounce back into postseason contention for the first time since 2017.
However, they may be on their way up.
With veterans such as Zack Greinke and Salvador Perez leading the way, and young stars such as Vinnie Pasquantino, Brady Singer, Hunter Dozier, MJ Melendez, and Bobby Witt Jr. on the rise, there could be reasons for optimism in Kansas City.
Regardless of what preseason predictions say, the Royals are out to prove people wrong in 2023.
On Twitter, the Royals posted a must-see hype video to get fans excited for the 2023 season and make them proud to support their team.

The message of the video was certainly a powerful one.
The video started with the narrator saying that the team belonged to the fans and all integral parts of Kansas City, including businesses that “make it thrive,” as well as those who have spent generations supporting the ballclub.
The narrator continued by saying that the team had a special kind of “Midwestern work ethic,” and offered them praise for not being afraid of hard work or any grind, and expressed hope for the future and what may come for the Royals in the next few years, even going as far as to say that this team is “the future of the Royals.”
Kansas City lost 97 games in 2022 and ultimately fired their manager Mike Matheny.
However, Matt Quatraro has taken over managerial duties and is set to help rebuild the franchise and turn it back into a contender.NEXT: Royals Star Gets MVP Recognition In The WBC
