The Washington Commanders pulled off a preseason feat that no team has achieved since the 2015 season.
That was defeating the Baltimore Ravens in a preseason game.
Baltimore entered on a 24-game preseason win streak and it was ended thanks to a late-game field goal by Joey Slye.
One of the most impressive players in this game was Commanders quarterback Sam Howell.
He went 19/25 in the game with 188 yards and two touchdowns.
It was an incredibly impressive performance from Howell who is getting ready for his first season as a starter.
Commanders head coach Ron Rivera was impressed with the performance of his quarterback.
According to Around The NFL, Rivera said Howell did “exactly what we were expecting.”

Howell was selected in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Not many people expected him to become an NFL starter.
But he has been given that chance by the Commanders.
From the look of his preseason showing, the Commanders should be excited about the upcoming year.
Howell seems to have good chemistry with his receivers and has done a good job leading the offense.
Most people do not expect Washington to be in contention this year.
Playing in the NFC East, they will have to play both the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys twice.
Dethroning one of those two teams will not be an easy task.
Washington has not been to the playoffs since the 2020 season.
Yet, outside of their division, the rest of the conference is not daunting.
Depending on the play of Howell, the Commanders could be eying up a Wild Card berth.
