The Houston Rockets have gone through some drastic changes this summer, with the team clearly sick of losing and wanting to change the culture of the franchise.
The first major move the team made was the biggest culture move they could make by bringing in former Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka to lead this team on the sideline.
With Udoka having a distinct style of coaching and not taking any flak from his players with a no-nonsense attitude, the team was selective in their choices in NBA free agency, adding Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks into the mix with a young group of talented players.
Along with those additions, the Rockets aren’t messing around anymore when it comes to players who can’t stay out of trouble off the floor, as the team has reportedly made a decision on troubled guard Kevin Porter Jr.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Rockets are actively looking to trade Porter, who recently was arrested for allegedly attacking his girlfriend, via Hoop Central.

As more details of Porter’s arrest come to light, the Rockets might find it more and more difficult to trade him, as he is coming off as a player who might have played his last game due to the brutality of his actions.
Only time will tell if Porter can be traded, as the Rockets will try to do their due diligence, but ultimately, it looks like no team will want anything to do with the troubled star, as he’d be nothing more than a distraction.
