The New York Jets have made a lot of noise during this NFL off-season after the team acquired superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers.
The trade to bring in Rogers was thought to be a game-changer for the Jets as they finally found the missing piece to the championship puzzle he will fill the void left at the quarterback position with Mike White and Zach Wilson unable to live up to expectations.
Along with bringing a lot of attention to the storied franchise this summer, Rodgers’ presence in New York has also drawn the interest of some star players around the league that want to contend for a title next season.
The latest star player to be drawn to the Jets is veteran running back Dalvin Cook, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings.
Cook has been linked to the Jets for a short amount of time, but the process seems to be sped up with the four-time Pro Bowler visiting the team this weekend.
After Cook’s visit, Jets head coach Robert Saleh reacted to meeting him and talked about the meet and greet with the veteran running back via SNY.
Robert Saleh talks on Dalvin Cook's visit today:
"Call it a meet and greet. I don't know about recruiting, but I think it's more to get a feel and make the best decision for your family" pic.twitter.com/a9ZzbFgXp1

With Cook now having met with the team, it will be interesting to see whether or not he decides to sign with the potential title contenders in order to help bolster the run game in New York and make this office that much more dynamic.
Cook would be an ideal addition to the Jets office as it would take pressure off of the second-year running back Breece Hall, as well as Rodgers, with the veteran quarterback trying to make things easier later on in his career rather than harder.
