Ever since he was released by the Minnesota Vikings, Dalvin Cook has been tied to multiple organizations.
And just when it seemed like he was leaning toward signing with his hometown Miami Dolphins, a fellow AFC East rival emerged as the frontrunner to acquire his services.
It’s been weeks since people have talked about the possibility of Cook joining the New York Jets.
And judging by HC Robert Saleh’s words, it seems like that’s definitely on the table.
In a recent appearance on FanDuel’s Up & Adams, Saleh raved about the ‘positive’ meeting they had when Cook visited the team’s facilities, going as far as to say that he ‘turned him into a believer.’
"Yesterday was awesome, had a really good meeting with him… He turned me into a believer."

It’s not the first time that Saleh has addressed the possibility of signing Cook, who also admitted that his next destination would most l likely be in the AFC East.
Of course, the Jets already have a promising player in that position, as Breece Hall is expected to get back to full strength and be ready for the season opener, but they should spare no expense in their pursuit of a trip to the big game.
Even as a backup or a mentor, Cook could have a prominent role in Saleh’s team, and they would instantly have one of the most dominant and explosive running back tandems in the league.
It’s not official yet, but all signs point toward Cook’s signing with the Jets as being imminent, barring a major turn of events at the eleventh hour.
