On Sunday, the Boston Celtics were able to get the best of the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden in Game 7, with a historic performance from superstar forward Jayson Tatum.
With Tatum dropping a history-making 51 points in Game 7 to shut the door on the 76ers’ hopes of extending their playoff lives, the Celtics will now advance to the Eastern Conference Finals to face the scrappy and resilient Miami Heat led by Jimmy Butler.
Although the Heat are the eighth seed in the East coming into this playoff series, Miami will be a force to be reckoned with as they’ve defied the odds from the Play-in Tournament all the way up to upsetting the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks.
The Celtics will have their work cut out for them in the Eastern Conference Finals and the NBA Finals to follow if they advance with either the Los Angeles Lakers or Denver Nuggets as their opponent.
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft believes that the Celtics will win it all this season, as he told NBC 10 Boston via Malcolm Johnson.

As of right now, the Celtics are considered the favorites to win it all, no matter who they face in the Finals if the team is able to get that far.
However, there’s a long way to go before the Celtics have a chance to raise an 18th championship banner in the rafters at TD Garden, as beating the Heat will be no easy task, nor will it be a breeze to take down the Lakers or Nuggets in a seven-game series.
