The Las Vegas Raiders entered Monday Night Football with an opportunity to get back to .500 on the season.
They lost to the Detroit Lions in this contest after a lackluster performance by Jimmy Garoppolo and the rest of their offense.
Now that they have dropped to 3-5 on the season, many analysts and fans have suggested that the Raiders be sellers at the trade deadline.
Robert Griffin III has been an advocate for the team to move on from Davante Adams, especially after having one catch on Monday Night Football.
Raiders should do Davante Adams a solid and trade him. He deserves it. He came there to play for his favorite team, they got rid of the QB he came there to play with and he has 1 catch tonight. Don’t subject him to anymore of this dysfunction.

As Griffin mentions, the Raiders moved on from Derek Carr after he played just one year with Adams.
Now, Adams is left without his college teammate, stuck on a team that has had a tough go of it lately.
The Raiders have publically said that they are not interested in trading Adams.
However, during their game against the Lions, Adams appeared significantly disgruntled on the sidelines, frustrated with his lack of production.
Jimmy Garoppolo finished the night with 126 passing yards and one interception, with running back Josh Jacobs leading the team in receiving yards.
This was not an ideal outcome for Adams, who is widely viewed as one of the best receivers in the NFL.
With the trade deadline rapidly approaching, Adams’ recent frustrations might come to a head, asking the team if they would reconsider trading him.
For a contending team, adding a player of Adams’ caliber might be the ammunition they need to make a stronger push toward the postseason.
