The San Francisco 49ers suffered a heartbreaking loss in the most crucial game of the season.
Notably, that might not be their only problem right now.
Brandon Aiyuk and his entourage’s social media activity has made it loud and clear that the second-team All-Pro wide receiver wants out.
His brother even predicted he would join the Las Vegas Raiders next season.
Nonetheless, former Super Bowl champion Richard Sherman doesn’t want to read too much into it.
Talking on Undisputed, Sherman predicted that Aiyuk would be back in the Bay area next season.
“Brandon Aiyuk will be a San Francisco 49er next year,” Sherman said.

He believes he’s just frustrated and talking in the heat of the moment because he’s hurt after the loss.
He also thinks the team will make sure to make the necessary adjustments to get him more involved in the flow of the offense and give him a new contract.
Aiyuk is a very good player, but he’s not even the third-best player in the team’s offense.
The Niners could choose to move on from him if a team comes knocking with a good offer.
Even so, that seems kind of unlikely at this point, so barring a major turn of events, the fans should fully expect him to be on the team next season.
