After two incredible decades filled with success for Tom Brady, as a result of his stints with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the consensus among many in the NFL is that the quarterback is the greatest player of all time, or the “GOAT.”
With seven Super Bowl titles to his credit, which is a number that may never get reached by another player, let alone a quarterback, Brady left his mark on the game before deciding to retire after the 2022 NFL season.
Although Brady’s resume can’t be matched by anyone in the NFL right now, Patrick Mahomes of the Kanas City Chiefs continues to make his case for being the GOAT once his playing career comes to an end, as he already has two titles and could end up with many more.
FOX Sports analyst and former NFL star Richard Sherman makes a case for Mahomes being the GOAT down the road, via “Undisputed.”

As of right now, there isn’t much of a contest between Brady and Mahomes, with the former Patriots and Buccaneers superstar having by far the better resume and five more Super Bowl rings.
However, as Sherman alludes to, that could change in the future if Mahomes is able to continue playing at a high level for Andy Reid and company, as he could make this debate interesting in the near future.
In the meantime, Mahomes will try to keep the Chiefs firing on all cylinders, with the team coming off its first win of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
