NFL Network’s Rich Eisen has been doing his “Run Rich Run” event for years at the annual NFL Combine.
He runs the 40-yard dash in his suit, and it is always a fun event that viewers look forward to during the Combine festivities.
The Rich Eisen @nflnetwork “run rich run” is FANTASTIC!!!
So heartwarming. Raising money for St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Bravo! God bless.

Six years ago, he decided to partner with St. Jude Children’s Hospital to make Run Rich Run a fundraising event.
So far $2.5 million has been raised, and there are no signs of this successful partnership stopping anytime soon.
Eisen traditionally gets a St. Jude patient to be his timekeeper and cheerleader.
Those children who have since grown and healed helped to pull a total surprise over on Eisen live on the air on Sunday morning’s Week 7 pregame programming.
With a video presentation, it was revealed that Eisen was being honored for his Run Rich Run work.
The organization named Eisen the 2021 St. Jude Ambassador of the Year.
Check it out.
An amazing moment as @richeisen is surprised with the 2021 @StJude Ambassador of the Year award.
Thank you for everything you do, Rich. pic.twitter.com/igvCWyKCfU

Eisen’s Reaction
Rich Eisen has been on the air for decades and rarely appears speechless.
This was one of the times he was truly without words and emotional.
Beyond humbled.
Thank you to the angels at @StJude for the hard work they do to save the lives of children and for the love they put into their work to make families comfortable.
And thank YOU to all those who donate to and support #RunRichRun every year. https://t.co/Mk2av20x1M

In 2014, former Seattle Seahawks player Kam Chancellor had an interesting idea to speed up Rich’s time.
He volunteered himself to chase Rich in full pads and was pretty certain that would quicken Rich’s pace.
Lmao Rich Eisen… I bet I could chase him in full pads and he would run faster. Fun entertainment though hahaha @nflnetwork

Current and former players have competed against Rich with great success.
At age 40, #MichaelVick is still faster than most NFL quarterbacks.

Of course, you do not need to wait until the NFL Combine to donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Donations are welcome anytime.
Actor Danny Thomas founded St. Jude Children’s Hospital in 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee.
There are now eight St. Jude Children’s Hospital affiliate locations in the US.
His daughter Marlo has carried forth her father’s vision that families of children with serious illnesses should not be burdened with medical costs.
They should be free to focus on the treatment and healing of the sick child.
We are happy that Eisen was recognized for his work supporting the wonderful mission of St. Jude’s.
