MLB‘s second half is set to get underway on Friday as teams get ready to make a sprint to the finish line and clinch a playoff berth.
There have been many surprise teams in baseball this season.
Some teams that stand out for their first-half success are the Texas Rangers, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Cincinnati Reds.
Each of those teams is leading their division race and has a strong chance at the playoffs.
But only one of these teams has seen a youth movement come their way.
That is the Reds, who have four rookies making a major impact on a nightly basis.
According to MLB on Twitter, the Reds are the seventh-best team in baseball based on their power rankings.

The rookies leading the way this year are Elly De La Cruz, Matt McLain, Spencer Steer, and Andrew Abbott.
Each has played a significant role in their success and should be in the running for NL Rookie of the Year.
De La Cruz might be the most exciting player in baseball.
He was called up at the beginning of June and has only played 30 MLB games.
Yet, when he is on the field the Reds win.
They are 22-8 in games he starts and have taken over the NL Central lead since his call-up.
It will be interesting to see what the Reds do at the trade deadline.
But it would be wise for them to go for it this year.
They have put themselves in a position to be a playoff team and now must get to October.
