On Saturday, the Cincinnati Reds rallied from a late deficit to take down the Milwaukee Brewers and expand their lead in the NL Central to two games.
But there was more to this win than simply expanding their lead in the division.
Young shortstop Elly De La Cruz, who was recently called up from Triple-A Louisville put on a show on the basepaths.
In a span of just two pitches, De La Cruz stole three bases, and even caught the Brewers napping when he broke for home to score the Reds’ seventh run of the game.
MLB posted the highlight video on Twitter.

Since being called up from Triple-A, De La Cruz has been one of the most entertaining players to watch.
He has helped drag the Reds out of third place in the NL Central and now has them sitting at the top of the division for the first time since the early portion of the 2021 season.
Cincinnati improved to 50-40 with their win on Saturday.
It’s not every day that a player manages to steal second base, third base, and home in the same inning, let alone on just two pitches.
However, De La Cruz is no ordinary player and has taken the rest of the baseball world by storm with his elite speed and powerful bat.
It was his speed that was on full display on Saturday as the young Reds star stole the show at American Family Field.
Cincinnati won the game by a final score of 8-5 to even the series.
