On Thursday, the wait for regular season baseball will officially come to an end, as Opening Day finally arrives.
For the Boston Red Sox, it may be a year of reckoning.
After losing Xander Bogaerts and J.D. Martinez in free agency, the team still managed to make some impactful moves.
The acquisitions of Masataka Yoshida, Justin Turner, Adam Duvall, Kenley Jansen, Corey Kluber, and Richard Bleier have ignited some hope.
On Twitter, a Red Sox analyst posted a famous meme, reminding fans to look on the bright side to start the week as Opening Day is now fast approaching and only a few days away.

It’s always important to look on the bright side of life.
In this case, the bright side is that Opening Day is right around the corner and will be here before we know it.
The Red Sox will open up the season at Fenway Park against the Baltimore Orioles.
The team stumbled last season, finishing 78-84 and falling to the bottom of the ever-competitive American League East.
The previous year, they had won 92 games and reached the ALCS as a Wild Card team.
That was not the case in 2022.
However, the team is in a position where they could surprise some people in 2023, just as they did in 2021.
To start the season, the Red Sox will have Corey Kluber on the mound.
The team will look to improve after their disastrous 2022 season and surprise those who may be betting against them this spring.
Either way, Opening Day is almost here.
