The Baltimore Ravens have started the season strong, holding a 6-2 record through eight weeks.
While they have made the playoffs in four of the last five seasons, few analysts projected the Ravens to be tied for the AFC’s best record to this point.
Lamar Jackson has been an instrumental part of their success, contributing both on the ground and through the air.
For the majority of his career as the Ravens’ quarterback, Jackson has been their primary rusher.
He has been their goal-line back, contributing a large portion of their rushing touchdowns.
However, they seem to have found a good balance between him and Gus Edwards, who has continued to establish his role in the run game.
Edwards is coming off a three-touchdown game, a performance he’s looking to emulate moving forward.
In a quote that was shared via PFF Fantasy Football, Edwards said, “I’m hoping I get a big load again this week.”

Edwards is hungry to help the Ravens in whatever way he can, hoping to put together another big game.
The Ravens are playing the Seattle Seahawks this week, which could prove to be a test for their run game.
Through eight weeks, the Seahawks have allowed 96.3 yards per game to opposing running backs, putting them in the middle of the pack compared to other teams across the league.
However, they are surrendering two rushing touchdowns per game, a sign that their red zone defense needs some work.
With this in mind, will Edwards feast again this week?
