The Baltimore Ravens fell short again.
One year after a heartbreaking loss in the AFC Championship, John Harbaugh’s team failed to win consecutive playoff games again.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson had plenty to do with that.
He lost a fumble and threw a head-scratching interception in the first half of the divisional-round loss to the Buffalo Bills.
He didn’t have a single game with multiple turnovers all season, and the last time it happened was in last year’s playoffs.
As much as his postseason woes continue to haunt him, his teammates still have his back.
“It’s inevitable. He’s gonna win a Super Bowl and I wanna be a part of it,” Ravens fullback Patrick Ricard said, via Morgan Adsit of FOX Baltimore.

It surely seems that way, but he has to get the job done when it matters most.
Jackson was spectacular in the regular season and might win his third NFL MVP award.
That’s why it’s always so hard to explain why he can’t do the same come playoff time, often against the same teams he dominated in the regular season.
The Ravens have an elite defense and one of the greatest running backs of all time.
They have a proven head coach, a stout offensive line and enough playmakers in the passing game.
Of course, Mark Andrews’ game-changing fumble and drop were entirely on him, but Jackson did turn over the ball twice.
No one can deny his mesmerizing and unique talent, but he’s a superstar, and as such, he has to be held to a higher standard.
