The Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions were supposed to star in one of the most — if not the most — interesting games of Sunday’s slate.
The Lions were tied for the best record in the league, and they hit the road looking to make a statement against a legitimate Super Bowl contender, even if the Ravens hadn’t always played up to that level.
Despite being three-point underdogs, as many as 11 experts predicted the Lions to win the game.
That’s why Ravens star Patrick Queen took to Twitter to call them out after the win, stating that he doesn’t want any of their praise now.
And we don’t want y’all praises RESPECTFULLY 🫡 https://t.co/ahAZtQpKI3

Notably, the Ravens dominated the game from start to finish, and all aspects of it.
Lamar Jackson had arguably the best performance of his career, being accountable for four touchdowns and no turnovers and leading the offense up and down the field with ease.
The Ravens defense kept Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams in check, and they made Jared Goff look like the same erratic QB he was during his days with the Los Angeles Rams.
It was a much-needed bounce-back effort after their disappointing loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and they made sure to put the rest of the league on notice by finally showcasing their new offense.
As for the Lions, they wasted a big chance to prove that they’re for real and their newly-found success wasn’t just a fluke or a product of their schedule, and they’ll have a tough time turning the narrative around again.
