There has been plenty of animosity between the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Commanders as of late.
Despite Ron Rivera’s warning to his pupils, things have escalated quite quickly, and it’s become more than clear that they don’t like each other at all.
Following yesterday’s two fights during their joint practice, Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post reports that there was another scuffle early on Wednesday.
Apparently, the OL-DL one-on-one drills got a little too intense, and Eric Bieniemy had to step in.
Fight broke out during the early individual portion of Ravens-Commanders practice. During OL-DL one-on-ones. Eric Bieniemy lit into them.

This isn’t the first time that two rival teams have gone at it during joint practices.
This happens every single season, and it’s not that hard to predict that two teams going at full intensity against their rivals could lead to this sort of thing.
Notably, it’s hard for players to flip the switch and take it easy on their rivals, mostly because they simply don’t like them.
Football players are hard-nosed competitors and will always take things up a notch when they’re facing a rival; that’s just human nature.
Perhaps having joint practices isn’t the wisest idea, as even though it obviously helps teams get up to speed ahead of the start of the season, the risk of injuries or scuffles is just way too high, and it simply might not be worth it.
