We currently don’t know what the future holds for Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors.
Will the two-time All-Star be traded or will he remain with the Raptors into the long-term future?
That remains uncertain but we do know one thing: if Siakam plays very well in the new season and is recognized by the league, he could make a ton of money.
According to The Athletic, via NBACentral, Siakam is eligible for a five-year, $307.23 million deal next summer if he makes an All-NBA team in the coming season.
So, can he pull this off and receive an eye-popping payday?

It’s not out of the realm of possibility because he’s done it before.
In fact, Siakam has qualified for two All-NBA teams since joining the league seven years ago.
But this upcoming season could be his most unpredictable yet.
As of now, he is a member of the Raptors and could be their most important player.
Last season, he averaged 24.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game on a 48% field goal percentage.
But over the summer, there has been speculation about him possibly leaving Toronto for another team.
These rumors haven’t been much more than whispers, at least for now.
Could they grow in the upcoming months if the Raptors don’t start the season strongly?
Will Siakam be shipped away at the trade deadline in the middle of the year?
Or will the Raptors perform much better in 2023-24?
No matter where he is, Siakam wants to perform well.
The former champion and Most Improved Player of the Year could end up scoring a massive salary if he plays his heart out and gets the rest of the league to notice him again.
