Thursday night was an interesting night at Globe Life Field as the Texas Rangers fell to the Los Angeles Angels by a final score of 5-3.
In the top of the eighth inning, something strange took place.
Manager Bruce Bochy was ejected for arguing with the umpiring crew.
Marcus Semien wasn’t sure why and confronted the umpires over the matter before he himself was ejected.
Following this, pitching coach Mike Maddux sprinted out of the dugout to defend Semien.
However, he too suffered the same fate and was ultimately tossed.
FOX Sports provided a brief video of the three ejections on Twitter.

Semien was called out on a controversial strike call to end the bottom of the seventh.
That was when Bochy came out to argue the call.
It was during the commercial break when Bochy was tossed.
The three-time World Series champion manager was the first of the three to go.
Semien confronted the umpires about the strike call as well before being tossed.
Interestingly, it didn’t appear as if Semien or Maddux said anything too serious that might warrant an ejection.
However, the umpires did not see it that way and quickly ejected Semien and Maddux following Bochy’s ejection.
This certainly was an interesting sequence of events that took place in between innings during Thursday night’s game.
The Angels ultimately won the game thanks to a great performance by Shohei Ohtani.
But for a moment, the focus was on the Rangers as they lost three key members of their team to ejections in a span of just a minute.
