The Texas Rangers have been off to a solid start in 2023.
The team had a busy offseason and finally added some key pitchers to strengthen their staff.
But it’s not just the rotation that has the Rangers in first place in the American League West and on a four-game winning streak.
Contributions from other stars have guided them on their way as well.
More specifically, the Rangers have received a spark from rookie Josh Jung.
Jung recently earned American League Rookie of the Month honors for April after hitting at a .270 clip with six home runs, 21 RBI, 18 runs scored, and an .824 OPS.
On Twitter, the Rangers posted a cool graphic which featured some of Jung’s April statistics.

Jung certainly was on a roll in April.
His average is second among rookie ranks, as is his OPS.
He also leads all American League rookies in home runs, RBI, and runs scored.
The 25-year-old infielder had 27 hits as well, which also leads AL rookies.
Jung has provided a spark for the Rangers early on this season.
The team leads the defending World Series champion Houston Astros in the AL West by 2.5 games.
Texas is 18-11 and appears to finally be in a position to challenge the defending champions for the top spot in the division.
Jung is also surrounded by stars such as Corey Seager, Marcus Semien, Jonah Heim, and Adolis Garica in the Rangers lineup.
