The Texas Rangers were certainly busy over the winter as they finally addressed their pitching needs by signing Jacob deGrom, Andrew Heaney, and Nathan Eovaldi.
As a result, the Rangers are now one of the elite powerhouses in Major League Baseball.
This season, they own a record of 40-22 and have staked out a five-game lead in the American League West over the defending World Series champion Houston Astros.
Their record is the second-best in all of baseball.
Their offense is also quite stacked, as it features names such as Corey Seager, Nathaniel Lowe, Adolis Garcia, and Marcus Semien.
And after their first 62 games of the season, they continue to lead every other team in an important category.
On Twitter, Jim Bowden of The Athletic posted a list of the best run differentials in all of baseball this season, which shows the Rangers at the top with a whopping +149 run differential.
Run Differential Leaders: #Rangers +149#Rays +140#Braves +71#Astros +58#Dodgers +57#Yankees +42#Twins +36#Diamondbacks +33#BlueJays +29

For context, run differential measures how many runs a team is scoring compared to how many they have allowed.
Texas has the best run differential in baseball this season.
Their offense is producing quite well, as is their pitching staff.
The Tampa Bay Rays are second on the list with a +140 run differential, not too far behind the Rangers.
Other teams on the list include the Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Minnesota Twins, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Toronto Blue Jays, respectively.
But almost three months into the season, it’s the Rangers who have the best mark out of all teams.
