The Los Angeles Rams finished the 2022 season with a 5-12 record.
This was their worst overall finish since 2016, where they ended up 4-12.
Many have attributed the Rams’ down season to injuries, which they had up and down their entire roster.
The injury bug may have followed them into 2023, as Ari Meirov reported that Cooper Kupp left training camp early due to an apparent injury.

Kupp only played nine games for the Rams last season, suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 10.
While the status of his new injury remains to be seen, for now, at least, the Rams are without their top receiver.
Kupp showed significant progress from last season, impressing his coaches and fans throughout training camp.
If he’s unable to begin the season due to additional injury concerns, it could signal a slow start for the Rams.
He and Matthew Stafford have developed a notable connection which has resulted in significant targets for Kupp over the last two seasons.
With Kupp’s status potentially in jeopardy, there are a few players on the Rams’ roster that will need to step up in the receiving game.
Van Jefferson and Tyler Higbee are two players that Stafford has relied on in the past, and could have their numbers called more significantly this year.
Stafford is recovering from an injury of his own, however, so his efficiency as a passer remains to be seen.
While the news of Kupp is not ideal for the Rams, they have to move forward.
Who will end up answering the call for this team if Kupp does miss time?
