The Los Angeles Rams beat the 14-win Minnesota Vikings handily last weekend in the wildcard round, earning them a date with the Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round.
It is no secret that Eagles fans are not everyone’s cup of tea.
Rams rookie linebacker Jared Verse was not shy about sharing his opinion of the fans in Philadelphia.
“I hate Eagles fans. They’re so annoying. I hate Eagles fans…When I see that green and white I hate it. I actually get upset. Like I actually get hot,” Verse told the Los Angeles media this week.

Verse could be playing a dangerous game with the fans in the city of brotherly love.
That is why it would not be surprising if the fans heckled and yelled at the Pro Bowl linebacker all game long.
Eagles fans want to give their team any sort of advantage they can find.
That could come from getting in the head of opposing players like Verse.
It will be interesting to see if he can keep his cool during the game.
Although this is Verse’s second career NFL playoff game, it is his first playoff game in an extremely hostile environment.
He needs to stay focused so that he can worry about his play and not what the fans are saying about him.
