Veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is now a free agent after being released by the Miami Dolphins a few weeks ago.
The three-time Pro-Bowler and former Super Bowl champion could be looking to join a contender after things did not go well in Miami.
Beckham’s former head coach, Sean McVay, was asked by the Los Angeles media this week if he would consider bringing back Beckham.
“I love Odell. It’s not something that I think is something that we’re looking at right now,” McVay said Thursday.

The 32-year-old Beckham previously spent half of the 2021 season with the Rams and helped them bring home the Lombardi Trophy.
He caught 27 passes for 305 yards and five touchdowns in the regular season before adding in 21 receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns in the playoffs.
The five-time 1,000-yard wide receiver is not exactly what he once was.
Over the last couple of seasons, he has dealt with injuries and inconsistent play.
However, it would make sense for L.A. to bring him back.
McVay and Co. are in first place in the NFC West at 8-6, but they are only in first because of the tiebreaker they have over the Seattle Seahawks, whom they must face one more time at the end of the year.
It couldn’t hurt to bring Beckham to play behind star receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
He had a good rapport with quarterback Matthew Stafford a few years ago when he was there and could help add depth to the wide receiver room ahead of a possible playoff run.
