The Las Vegas Raiders are finally building some momentum as they picked up their second consecutive victory, this time against Josh McDaniels’ old mentor in Bill Belichick.
The Raiders were able to hold on and beat the New England Patriots to move to 3-3 during the 2023 NFL season, a solid mark considering what the team has had to endure already.
Las Vegas played good complementary football against New England and looks like a respectable team that could very well make a push for a Wild Card spot.
Although the Raiders lost Jimmy Garoppolo to a back injury that may keep him out of Week 7, they were able to manage just enough to take home the victory.
Defensively, Las Vegas has looked better each and every week and it starts with Maxx Crosby who had another strong game.
Crosby has turned himself into one of the best defensive players in the league and he had no problem expressing how confident he is in his skill and work ethic via The Pat McAfee show.
“I play every single snap and there’s no other defensive lineman doing that in the league.. I pride myself on it and I feel like my skill level matches my work ethic,” Crosby said.

Crosby wasn’t a highly-touted prospect coming out of his draft, but the All-Pro has proven that hard work and tenacity will trump talent.
Against the Patriots, Crosby racked up seven total tackles, half a sack, one quarterback hit, and even one pass defensed.
Crosby is the heart and soul of the Raiders defense and if he continues to play at this level the team should find themselves back in the postseason.
