The Las Vegas Raiders could be a team to watch out for during the 2024 NFL season as they’ve got a new regime in place.
Raiders owner Mark Davis fired former general manager Dave Ziegler and head coach Josh McDaniels and replaced them with Tom Telesco and Antonio Pierce, respectively.
Pierce showed he could lead an NFL team after he helped Las Vegas finish with a 5-4 record after he took over as interim head coach.
Meanwhile, Telesco was a solid general manager with the Los Angeles Chargers as he could bring in high-level talent on both sides of the field.
Telesco now has the challenge of rebuilding the Raiders roster, though he’s already got several key players in place.
Davante Adams has been the subject of trade rumors for months, but Telesco had a resounding answer when asked about potentially trading him via Brian Costello of the New York Post.
“He’s a Raider,” Telesco said.
Raiders GM Tom Telesco asked what his response would be if asked about Davante Adams trade by fellow GM: “He’s a Raider.”

Teams like the New York Jets have registered a lot of interest in trading for Adams, but it sounds like Telesco has every intention of keeping him.
Adams voiced his displeasure with the offense several times last season, but with Pierce and Telesco aboard it looks like he’ll go back to being a featured part of the passing game.
Despite getting older, Adams would have plenty of value in a hypothetical trade though he hasn’t given any indication that he’d like to leave Las Vegas.
Raiders fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the leader of their offense doesn’t appear to be going anywhere.
