The New York Jets have been the most talked about team this offseason.
That is what happens when you make a blockbuster deal to acquire legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers is getting set to lead the Jets into the season and this team has Super Bowl aspirations.
But, what will make the Jets competitive is not Rodgers and the offense but the other side of the ball.
Having a strong defense still plays a vital role for any Super Bowl team.
Last season, the Jets had that thanks to the emergence of some of their young players.
One player who got paid this offseason and is in for a career year is Quinnen Williams.
He went on “The Pivot” and discussed how he wants to be the best defensive tackle in football.
Even though @QuinnenWilliams accepted that he’d be third on interior defensive lineman pay scale behind @AaronDonald97 & @StoneColdJones. He said he is no longer accepting being third behind them on the field.

Williams talked about going through contract negotiations and how he was the “third guy” behind Aaron Donald and Chris Jones in the NFL.
He ended up getting a massive contract, but now wants the notoriety that the best in the league are receiving.
For the Jets to be successful on defense they need Williams to play at an elite level.
Last season, he recorded a career-high 12 sacks and finished seventh in Defensive Player of the Year voting.
It would not be a surprise if he challenges to win the DPOY award this season.
Williams is only 25 years old and still has his whole prime ahead of him.
With the way he is trending, it would not be a surprise to see many accolades coming his way in future years.
