Quinnen Williams’ first game with the Dallas Cowboys was special, and he made many fans happy that the team gave up multiple draft picks to get the defensive tackle in a trade with the New York Jets at the NFL deadline. Williams instantly looked like someone who could help solve Dallas’ problems on that side of the ball.
After the Week 11 win against the Las Vegas Raiders, Williams didn’t want to take all the credit. Instead, he raved about the rest of the Cowboys’ defensive line.
“I’m playing with great individuals. You got Kenny Clark, Osa [Odighizuwa], Eze [Donovan Ezeiruaku], got JD [Jadeveon Clowney] over there. The guys around me are playing unbelievable. All I just need to do is do my job. Have a great group of guys around me make it easier for me,” Williams said.

Williams was noticeable during his first game with Dallas, earning 1.5 sacks, including a 9-yard loss on Geno Smith. He also had a career-high five quarterback hits.
It is clear that Williams was fired up and ready to make a point during his first game away from New York. That is exactly what he did.
Other Dallas players noticed how hard Williams was working, and his presence was felt right away. It seems that everyone else on the defensive line is happy that Williams is on board and excited to keep building chemistry with him.
The All-Pro obviously has the skills to improve this team, but it sounds like he has a great personality as well. The fact that he is praising new teammates instead of taking all the credit says a lot about him and the sort of leader he is.
The Cowboys paid a big price to acquire Williams and, so far, he seems to be worth it.
