The Los Angeles Rams stumbled upon a new star wide receiver.
Puka Nacua wasn’t the highest-touted prospect by any means, but he took the league by storm right away.
However, it seems like football isn’t his only love.
If anything, he’s madly in love with basketball.
As shown in a clip shared by Dov Kleiman on X, the standout wide receiver is an avid basketball fan, and he even wants to play professionally once he retires from the NFL at age 30.

“I want to go play overseas basketball. Like I’m sure I could go to another country that only 25% of the world’s ever heard before, get ownership in the team and I’m… pic.twitter.com/j7zW9DvMXS

Nacua reportedly wants to leave the U.S. and play overseas and own a team.
He wants to be his own coach, oversee ticket sales, and make sure that everything works smoothly in the organization.
Standing at 6-foot-2, he might not be tall enough to thrive in the NBA, and he’s clearly not going to make a roster at age 30 without any previous professional experience.
Then again, he could certainly fulfill his desire somewhere else.
For the time being, he will continue to be Matthew Stafford’s preferred target.
Nacua picked up things where he left off in his rookie season last year.
He finished the campaign with 79 receptions for 990 yards and three touchdowns.
If he wants to fulfill his dream, he will have to make a lot of money in his new deal, and that should be more than enough motivation for him in 2025.
