As this year’s draft grows closer, all NBA fans will become more familiar with certain up-and-coming stars from all over the world who may someday lead the league.
James Nnaji is just one of those stars.
According to Jonathan Giovny of ESPN, Nanji, a projected first-round pick, has now declared himself for the draft.
Givony says that “scouts consider Nnaji perhaps the most physically gifted player in the draft at 6’11 with a 7’5 wingspan.”

When you watch Nnaji’s highlight reel, you can see why scouts are so excited for him.
The man is very big but he moves swiftly and is a master of blocking shots.
In fact, he is ranked fourth in the Euroleague for block shots per minute.
That is easy to do with the massive wingspan that Nnaji has.
Not only is he physically dominant, but he is also incredibly young too.
He will be 19 this summer and is currently the second-youngest player projected to be drafted.
This means that any NBA team that signs him will get someone who is built to clean up on the court and play for years to come.
He could be a very sizable and worthwhile investment for a number of teams.
One of the few downsides about Nnaji is that he hasn’t been given a lot of playing time lately so it’s hard to judge him.
This isn’t because of his lack of skill but because the rosters of teams overseas are so full that he often doesn’t get enough time on the court.
But now that he has declared for the draft, countless people will be digging up all the footage and facts they can about him.
