In today’s day and age, we as a society have become heavily reliant on our phones.
Whether it’s an iPhone or an Android, people are completely glued to their phones.
Even professional baseball players can’t live without them.
We often see players put their phones in their back pockets when they’re hitting or out in the field.
Pittsburgh Pirates rookie infielder Rodolfo Castro had his phone in his pocket during last night’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
While he was running to third base, he had an embarrassing moment, as his phone slipped out of his pocket while he was sliding into the bag.
Castro then had a moment of panic before the third base umpire pointed to where his phone had fallen.

Rookie Mistake
We’ve all been there before.
Everybody knows what it’s like to have a panic moment over losing their phone.
Castro just happened to have his while on the field of play and the cameras were right on him as his phone slipped away for just a second.
You never want to have a moment like this, where you think you’ve lost your phone and you’re wondering where in the world it could be, especially when you’re out on the field of play.
Luckily though, Castro’s phone didn’t go very far and was right at his feet after he stood up.
The phone is safe and sound.
Everybody in today’s society knows the fear for sure though.
People are glued to their phones.
Phones provide us all with the ability to do so many different things and it’s never fun to lose them.
But at least Castro has a story he can tell everybody about when his playing days are through.
