Dwight Howard was once among the top stars in the NBA during his time with the Orlando Magic.
Howard went from being a top-tier player to a journeyman during the latter years of his career in the league.
So much so that the 2020 NBA champion couldn’t even find a team for himself during the 2022-23 season.
Howard spent a season playing basketball in Taiwan, where he dominated.
Ahead of the 2023-24 season, the rumor mill suggests that the 37-year-old may find his new home with the Golden State Warriors.
Speaking of which, Howard was recently seen working out with Chris Paul, Draymond Green, and DeMar DeRozan, via Hoop Central on Twitter.

Seeing Howard with two Warriors veterans made fans believe he’s on his way to signing with the Dubs.
Adding Howard could prove extremely beneficial for the Warriors, who were eliminated in the 2023 Western Conference semifinals against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Howard would stabilize the paint for the Warriors off the bench as a backup center for Kevon Looney.
Moreover, Howard is still more than capable of throwing flashy dunks here and there, that may get the Warriors’ crowd up on its feet.
In addition, a player of Howard’s skill set will draw defenders into the paint, which will ultimately lead to the likes of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson getting more open shots.
On paper, the match sounds perfect.
It bodes well with the Warriors’ current search for a veteran center as well.
