The Oklahoma City Thunder are a team that could make some noise in 2023.
They have been bad for many years and because of that, they have acquired some top draft picks.
OKC has cashed in on a few of their picks and now look poised to compete for a playoff spot next season.
One player who will be entering his rookie season next year is Chet Holmgren.
He was the second overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft but missed all of last season with a foot injury.
Holmgren is one of the rare talents that can do it all.
Standing at 7’1″, the 21-year-old can dribble, shoot, and rebound.
Not being able to play last season may have been have been a blessing in disguise.
He was able to put on 13 pounds of muscle over the year and you can see a physique change.

Holmgren will join a young core in Oklahoma City led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
SGA was an all-star last season and named a first-team All-NBA player.
The Thunder also have Josh Giddey and Jaylen Williams who are young players that have shown promise.
While the Thunder may be too inexperienced to compete atop the Western Conference next year, they could be a playoff team.
