ESPN is trying something new with Peyton Manning and Eli Manning.
The two brothers get to host a special watch party on ESPN2 for Monday Night Football.
This does not take place every week, but the early results from the experiment are overwhelmingly positive.
Viral moments have happened all three weeks and special guests have aided in making this unique NFL broadcast a fun one.
This past game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles featured a comment from Peyton that had fans rolling.
He decided to, out of nowhere, rip Joe Buck for his lack of knowledge of the game.

Manning was clearly saying this in jest, but he definitely has an audience for takes like that as so many fans despise Buck’s presence on big games.
“I need a cohost who knows nothing about coverage…like Joe Buck” lmaooooo Peyton

This was just one of the many laughs provided by the Manning brothers in this special telecast.
So Many Viral Moments
The Manning brothers have better chemistry than most announcing teams that have been working together for years.
And the best part for them is that they get to sit at home and talk about the game like a fan.

Eli even decided to get off his seat and give a great illustration of his hip movement.
"These hips don't lie. I'm like Shakira." – Eli Manning

They go back and forth nonstop, like only brothers can, and Buck was just a quick victim from all the ribbing that takes place from between the two.
The references are nonstop too so it is easy to see why so many fans are tuning in on a weekly basis.

An Ideal Situation
Both Mannings likely have jobs waiting for them if they ever decide to enter the broadcast world.
That has been true for Peyton for years, while Eli is just breaking into that market.
But how can you beat their current gig?
Both brothers get to sit at home and watch games together, while talking with famous friends along the way.
There is no travel involved and they are not held to the typical rules of what can be discussed during a broadcast.
If the ratings are good, ESPN will also want to keep this situation as it stands now.
Putting someone like Peyton in a booth with an announcer like Buck would probably not flow well with their individual styles.
Thus, the Mannings can continue to sit at home, entertain fans, and generate double the ratings for ESPN in addition to the game itself.
