One of the best second-round series in the NBA playoffs is taking place in the Eastern Conference right now, with the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers battling it out for the chance to face the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Knicks currently hold the series lead at 3-2 heading into Game 6 on the road at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, with the Pacers favored to come out on top on the home floor with a -5.5 point spread as of Friday afternoon.
Although the Knicks have been incredibly tough to beat during this postseason, the Pacers have proven they belong in the mix in the East, with the team coming together at the right time and having a chance to extend their season.
Throughout this 2023-24 NBA season, up-and-comer Tyrese Haliburton has shown flashes of being a superstar while also showing that he can fold at times on the floor, like he did in Game 5.
However, former NBA star Paul Pierce believes the Pacers will get the win to force a Game 7 with Haliburton having a bounce-back performance in front of his home crowd, via KG Certified.
“Ain’t no way the Pacers losing at home,” Pierce said. “Halliburton gon have a bounce back.”

If Indiana has any hope of forcing a Game 7, it will all depend on Haliburton stepping up in this game while helping lead his team to victory against a very good and scrappy Knicks squad that seems determined to advance.
Only time will tell if Haliburton has what it takes to get the win and lead the Pacers to a potential upset in the series.
