The NFC has been seen as being weaker than the AFC lately, but it actually has more teams with double-digit wins (six) than the AFC (five) does right now.
A big reason the NFC is perceived as the inferior conference is because the AFC has more quarterbacks who are considered elite — in fact, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson, all of whom are widely considered the four best QBs in the league, all play in the AFC.
But objectively speaking, the NFC is no slouch when it comes to legitimate star signal-callers thanks to men such as Jalen Hurts, Brock Purdy, Jared Goff and now rookie Jayden Daniels.
On Fox Sports 1’s “Speak,” former NBA player Paul Pierce said that Daniels is the most talented QB in the NFC — hands down, and he also said that Daniels’ Washington Commanders will be “the most feared team in the playoffs.”

Daniels started to prove he was special much earlier this season, and on Sunday night, he reminded the nation why he has star written all over him.
His Commanders trailed the Atlanta Falcons 17-7 at halftime, but he led a comeback that sent the game into overtime, and once there, he found tight end Zach Ertz for the game-winning touchdown.
Washington’s 30-24 win clinched them a playoff spot and put Daniels in the spotlight once again after he threw for 227 yards and three touchdowns while adding 127 yards on the ground.
What makes him truly scarier is how he steps up and comes through in crunch time, which could be seen as the true measure of how much of a star an athlete truly is.
For the season, he has thrown for 3,530 yards and 25 touchdowns while completing 69.4 percent of his pass attempts, and he also has 864 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.
