Ever since superstar forward Kawhi Leonard decided to leave the Toronto Raptors in favor of the Los Angeles Clippers a few years ago, the two-time NBA champion has been the face of the struggling franchise and the main reason there’s been some optimism that this team could be a legitimate title contender.
The Clippers’ odds of winning the franchise’s first NBA title improved drastically with the arrival of fellow superstar James Harden, who forced his way out of Philadelphia to play for his hometown team in Los Angeles.
Initially, this seemed like a bad move for the Clippers, as it was unclear how head coach Tyronn Lue would be able to manage four superstars and their egos.
The combination of Leonard, Harden, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook didn’t work right away, but now it seems to be firing on all cylinders with the NBA playoffs right around the corner.
Former NBA star Paul Pierce believes that Harden is a bigger superstar than Leonard, which is an interesting point of view that he shared with Kevin Garnett via NBA Central.
“James Harden is a bigger superstar than Kawhi Leonard,” Pierce said.

With Leonard having a non-existent personality and wanting nothing to do with the media, it would be safe to say that Pierce is right in his assessment of the two superstars.
Yes, Leonard is the better all-around player, and his two titles to his credit, but Harden has the star power and a life off the field that many find interesting, making him the bigger superstar.
