The Boston Celtics are a flawless team from top to bottom.
They’re deep, and every single player there has a clear role and function.
Nonetheless, they can also be a dynamic team, and anybody can step up when another player is struggling.
That’s why it was only right that they capped off this incredible season with an NBA championship.
Moreover, Paul Pierce actually believes they have the best backcourt in the game.
Talking on Undisputed, he called Jrue Holiday the best two-way player in the game, adding that Derrick White might be the most underrated player.

He believes the way they step up in big moments and get the job done when it matters the most is what sets them apart from other backcourt duos.
Truth be told, Pierce’s comments about the Celtics should also be taken with a grain of salt, as he’s not particularly objective when it comes to his former team.
Also, this might be a bit of a reach, but they definitely have a very solid backcourt.
Holiday might be one of the most underrated players in NBA history, and White’s ability to knock down shots and play defense also played a huge role in this team’s championship.
But more than that, this Celtics team had no egos or hidden agendas.
It featured a group of players ready to feed off each other regardless of who was getting most of the shots or the credit, and that’s what turns a good team into a great one.
