After a very rough stretch of games, the Los Angeles Clippers recently won three games in a row for the first time this season.
But a tough loss on Friday night reminded the Clippers of the problems they have within the roster, and problems they have with the league.
Following the game, Clippers star Paul George spoke about the lack of calls he’s received lately.
According to Farbod Esnaashari, George said, “It’s frustrating. For a guy who consistently gets hit, whether it’s jump shots or attacking the basket. It’s deeper than what can I answer… Honestly, I don’t know what to do.”

George isn’t the first NBA player to complain about calls he has received or not received from the referees.
On Friday night, the Clippers faced off against the very physical, very strong New Orleans Pelicans.
When the final buzzer sounded, the Clippers had 24 personal fouls while the Pelicans had 19.
George was obviously not happy with that total and felt that the refs had missed a few calls throughout the game.
It’s not entirely clear which moments in the game George is referring to, but the league will definitely take note.
He has been fined before and he will likely be fined again if he continues to make comments like this.
George tried his hardest on Friday, scoring 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists as his team battled against the Pelicans.
But it wasn’t enough and the Clippers fell to the Pelicans, 116-106.
They were getting close to having an even record again but Los Angeles is now 6-8 with a tough week ahead.
They face the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night, followed by the Denver Nuggets on Monday, and Sacramento Kings on Wednesday.
