Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers is now in his 13th season in the NBA and has seen a lot during his time playing in the league.
He is an eight-time All-Star and six-time All-NBA player.
He was also voted the league’s Most Improved Player in the 2012-13 season.
All of this means that George knows a lot about the NBA and people listen when he speaks about the current state of the game.
According to Legion Hoops, George sounded off about how hard it is to defend in the NBA during a recent episode of his Podcast P show.
George didn’t hold back:
“It’s killing the game. We can’t be defenders… We can’t defend as well as we used to. It’s a foul now. You could be physical, aggressive… you can’t do that now. The offense has the advantage now.”

The claim that regular defensive plays are regularly called fouls by referees in the NBA has been made by several NBA stars and fans.
It speaks to a larger complaint that people have about officiating in the league.
Some people claim that the league has altered the rules and become more restrictive as a way to make a more marketable and fun game in order to bring in viewers.
However, it remains to be seen if the NBA listens to the complaints of George and others.
Some people will always be unhappy with certain aspects of the league and the organization often tunes them out.
But if more and more players speak out about how hard it is to defend, the league might be forced to address the issue.
Is George just venting about his frustrations or does he have a legitimate point about how the Association is run?
